CHARAN, WAXCARVER & STONESETTER

Charan shapes each piece from a solid block of jeweler’s wax, carefully filing and carving it with the precision of a master sculptor. Once the wax model is complete, it is sent to our casting team, where it can be transformed into the metal of the customer’s choice.

He is also highly skilled in gemstone setting, carefully securing each stone with the least amount of metal necessary while ensuring strength, balance, and lasting beauty.

 

JACK, CASTER

Jack takes the completed wax model and surrounds it with a plaster-like investment material. The mold is then heated to very high temperatures, burning away the wax and leaving a precise cavity behind. Molten gold is poured into this space, forming the jewelry piece in solid metal.

 

SANONG, GOLDSMITH

Sanong carefully works the metal by hand, using specialized tools and techniques to shape, refine, and smooth it into the desired form.

SOMSRI, POLISHER

Somsri uses a range of polishing tools and techniques to smooth away rough or uneven surfaces, revealing the metal’s brilliance and giving each piece of jewelry a radiant, almost magical shine.
